Never trust a mortuary with a wig shop.
Jules volunteers herself and most gay gal pals to help girlfriend Emily get to Clovis to see her Grandma. Jules never thought they would find Emily’s Grandma dead on the ledge of her second-story home with only the crows as a witness. As if trying to get Grandma interred wasn’t enough stress, Jules and Emily’s relationship continues to unravel and is stretched beyond its limit when an old friend shows up to give Emily a new shoulder to cry on. But just like everything else in the strange little town of Clovis, nothing is what it seems.
As the annual Clovis festival draws near, it’s clear to Jules that this game with old friend Eddie could prove to be fatal. Is Jules really the only one who sees he is a perfect match for the undiscovered killer? Are her own secrets coming back to haunt her and create a shroud of suspicion? Will the women band together in time? And why the hell does everyone keep asking them to buy oranges?
